Great Ocean Road

Great Ocean Road is situated in Australia. It is spread about 243 kilometers.  It is a beautiful tourist attraction. The road consists of rocks made up of limestone and sandstone. The construction of this road began on 19 September 1919. Finally, a section from the Eastern view to Lorn was opened on 18 March 1922 with a great celebration. It received an Engineer Heritage National Marker from Engineers Australia.  

It is the world's longest war memorial. You can visit this road in one day but to gain full view and enjoyment, it takes some days to visit. Bells Beach, the Memorial Arch, the 100km Great Ocean Walk, Great Otway National Park, the 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, London Arch, and Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve are the most attractive places. 

There is a lot of fun to do.  It is the best area for photography and picnic. Many people visit this road every year.  Some photos of Great Ocean Road are given below:
