Beauty of Hunza Valley (Pakistan)

Hunza is a valley in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. It is occupied by Kashmir. Hunza is situated in the northern part of Pakistan. It is bordered with Wakhan Corridor of Afghanistan.
The Hunza valley is situated at an elevation of 2,438 meters. Geographically, Hunza consists of three regions:


  •  Upper Hunza "Gojal"
  •  Central Hunza "Hunza Valley" 
  •  Lower Hunza "Shinkai"


  • This valley has different pretty natural scenes that attract tourists. It is surrounded by high peaks.

    Famous Forts:

    • Altit Fort:
    This fort is situated in northern areas. It is the oldest fort. It is built with great architectural design on a rock of mountain where the Hunza river flows.


    • Baltit Fort: This is another pretty fort of Hunza Valley. It is built at the top of Karimabad. It has won a lot of rewards like Asia-Pacific Heritage for cultural Conservation-Award of Excellence.




  "All of life is peaks and valleys. Don't let the peaks get too high and the valleys too low. The marvelous richness of human experience would lose something of rewarding joy if there were no limitations to overcome."
